Start free. Scope it. Agree it in writing.

The free check shows if AI can read your site. The Assessment shows what it tells your customers. Launch and Care go further, only if it makes sense.

What we work on

Four things. All of them about being found.

Everything we do comes back to these four. Nothing else is on the list.

01

Named by AI

We test the questions your customers ask on the main AI assistants, every month, and fix the gaps.

02

Easy to find and understand

A website with the right markup, AI crawler access, plain FAQ content and an llms.txt file.

03

Enquiries that convert

Clear calls to action and enquiry paths, counted in the monthly report so you can see what turns into contact.

04

Found locally

A complete Google Business Profile, a process for asking real customers for reviews, and listings that match your site.

Free check or Assessment?

One tells you if AI can read you. The other tells you what AI says about you.

Assessment (one-off)

Why most businesses start here.

A readable website is only half the picture. Customers are now being given written answers about businesses like yours. The Assessment is how you find out what those answers say, and what to do about it.

Illustration of a scorecard with dated answers under a magnifying glass.
01

AI answers use more than your website

Our reading: assistants can describe a business from your profile and listings as well as your site. The free check reads your site only. The Assessment looks at all of it, and at where they disagree.

02

The only way to know is to ask

There is no ranking to look up. We put the questions your customers ask to AI assistants and keep every answer, dated. Why samples, not scores.

03

People stop at the answer

In a Pew Research Center study of US adults, 26% ended their session on a page with an AI summary, against 16% without one. Read the study.

04

You find out before you spend

The fix list shows whether you need targeted fixes or a rebuild, so you do not pay for work you do not need.

05

You get a starting record

Dated answers today are what you compare against later. Without them you cannot tell whether any work changed anything.

06

Your facts get checked against each other

Your site, your Google Business Profile and your listings should say the same things. We find where they do not.

What you receive

What a dated sample looks like.

This is the part the free check cannot give you: what assistants actually said when asked, on which day.

Question a customer asksAssistant AAssistant BSampled
Who is a good physio for a sore back in Sydney?Named and quotedNamed, not quoted14 and 16 Oct
Which physio near me sees patients on Saturdays?Named, not quotedNot named14 and 16 Oct
Who treats sports injuries in the inner west? Not namedNot named14 and 16 Oct

Fictional sample data, not a client result. Answers vary by run, so samples are not guarantees.

The Assessment includes

  • Tested customer questions with dated answers.
  • A technical check of the nine dimensions across your key pages, plus a live crawler test.
  • A Google Business Profile review against your site and listings.
  • A short competitor snapshot: which similar businesses the assistants named in this sample.
  • An ordered fix list with an owner for each item.

Honest limits

Samples, not guarantees

Assistants answer differently by run, user, place and day. The Assessment shows what was said when we asked. It does not guarantee what will be said next.

Launch: AI-ready websites

A site that customers, search engines and AI assistants can all read.

Builds and rebuilds are the preferred paid project. Where the Assessment shows a rebuild is not the right answer, targeted technical fixes can be scoped and quoted separately. A build usually takes four weeks; content sign-off is the usual cause of delay.

01

Text in the page

Content is in the page itself, readable before any script runs.

02

Answer-first pages

Each page opens with a short answer, uses question headings and puts facts in tables or lists.

03

Clear business facts

Who you are, what you do, where and how to contact you, stated once and matched everywhere.

04

Matching markup

Structured data that states only what the page visibly says.

05

Deliberate crawler rules

Robots rules and a sitemap set on purpose, not by default.

06

Directory clean-up

Listings that match your site, so assistants see one story.

When a rebuild fits

  • Pages load as an empty shell or hide text behind scripts.
  • The structure makes answer-first pages hard to add.
  • The platform limits what can be changed.

When targeted fixes fit

  • The site is sound, with specific gaps such as markup, robots rules or page openings.
  • You want changes scoped and quoted on their own.
  • A rebuild would cost more than it returns.

"AI-ready" describes our design approach. It is not a guarantee of indexing, ranking, citations, recommendations or enquiries. We do not buy placements, write fake reviews or hide text for machines.

Care: ongoing visibility management

Measure it properly. Improve it as you go.

Defined measurement and agreed improvements over time, using dated AI-answer samples and available traffic and enquiry evidence where included.

Illustration of a line chart rising month by month.
01

Monthly re-testing

Fixed customer questions put to agreed platforms each month, with every answer dated and kept.

02

The 3-layer report

Technical health, AI mentions and enquiries, so we do not mistake sampling for results.

03

Ongoing fixes

Changes made within an improvement allowance agreed in advance, and reported with what changed.

04

Claims checks

Your published claims checked against the Australian Consumer Law.

05

Five assistants, same questions

ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, asked the same fixed questions each month so changes are comparable.

06

Local presence

Your Google Business Profile kept complete, a simple process for asking real customers for reviews (we never write them), and directory listings that match.

Agreed before you buy

Five things, in writing.

  • Which platforms we sample.
  • How often, and which questions.
  • The improvement allowance.
  • The price, in AUD.
  • The limits.

Honest limits

No guaranteed outcomes

Samples show what was said at a moment. They do not guarantee what will be said next, and they are not a ranking. We never present a readiness score as evidence of citations.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is the difference between the free check and the Assessment?

The free check is automatic and reads your website only. The Assessment is paid and done by people. It also tests the questions your customers really ask on AI assistants, reviews your Google Business Profile and listings, and gives you an ordered fix list.

Why would I pay for an Assessment?

Because the free check can tell you whether AI can read your site, but not what AI is actually telling your customers. The Assessment shows that, with dated answers, and tells you what to fix first so you do not pay for work you do not need.

How much does Aura8 cost?

The free check costs nothing. Assessment, Launch and Care are scoped to your business, quoted in Australian dollars and agreed in writing before any work starts.

Why does Aura8 not publish prices?

The work depends on your site, its size and what you want tested, so a fixed price list would be wrong for most businesses. The free check shows what you need, and the quote follows from that.

Do I have to rebuild my website?

No. Where an assessment shows a rebuild is not the right answer, targeted technical fixes can be scoped and quoted separately. A fix-only project is an assessment-led alternative, not an undisclosed step towards a rebuild.

How long does a Launch build take?

A Launch build usually takes four weeks: diagnose, build, content and launch. Your first visibility report follows 30 days later, once AI has had time to re-crawl. Content sign-off is the usual cause of delay. Scope is agreed in writing before you commit.

What do you measure in Care?

Dated samples of AI answers to fixed client questions on platforms we agree with you, plus traffic and enquiry evidence where it is included and available. Samples show what was said at a moment. They are not guaranteed or permanent.

What is agreed before I buy Care?

Platforms, cadence, improvement allowance, pricing and limits. We do not start until those are agreed.

Which AI assistants do you test?

In Care we ask the same fixed questions each month on ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, and record every answer with its date. The platforms are agreed with you before we start.

How do I get recommended by ChatGPT?

Nobody can force a recommendation. What you can do is remove the blockers, make your content readable and make your facts clear. The order is reach, read, understand, cite. Our free check shows where you stand.

How long until the answers change?

We cannot promise a date. We fix the problems first, then re-test the same questions every month so you can see what changes and when.

Will you write lots of AI content?

No. Content is plain, led by your customers' questions, signed off by you, and kept to what is true. It is not high-volume.

What if my site cannot be crawled?

The free check says so. It reports that it could not read your site, rather than giving you a score of zero, and tells you why.

Who is Aura8 not for?

We are the wrong fit if you want a guarantee that AI will name you, because nobody honestly can give one. We are also not the answer if you want a flood of AI-written content, paid advertising, or reports to resell under another agency's name. We do one thing: help your business be found and described correctly, and tell you plainly what the evidence shows.

Do you guarantee results?

No. We never promise rankings, citations or sales.
