Free AI Search Readiness Check
Is your website ready for AI?
Enter your address and watch the check run: nine dimensions scored out of 100, a live test of four AI crawlers, and your first findings.
- Free
- About a minute

The check reads your home page, robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt, then a sample of up to twelve key pages from your sitemap. It also asks for your home page the way four AI crawlers do. The instant result is an automated estimate and does not test what any AI says about you. Nothing is stored unless you ask for the full report. A real person reviews it. We reply within 2 business days.
Does your firewall let AI crawlers in?
- OAI-SearchBot
- GPTBot
- ClaudeBot
- PerplexityBot
A clean robots.txt is not the same as being readable. A firewall can turn bots away even when robots.txt allows them. Read why.

Exactly what is scored
What does the check score?
Nine dimensions add up to 100 points. Each one belongs to a step of the Aura8 method: Reachable, Readable, Understood or Citable. Reachable is tested live, by asking for your pages the way four AI crawlers do.
| Dimension | Points | Step | What it looks at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Structured data | 15 | Understood | Whether your home page tells machines who you are in markup: your organisation, official profiles, address or phone, logo and contact details. |
| Brand and entity consistency | 15 | Understood | Whether your business name, email domain and details are the same everywhere across the pages we read. |
| Open Graph and sharing | 5 | Understood | Whether your home page has the share tags, including an image, that tell machines and people what the page is. |
| Content coverage and freshness | 15 | Readable | Whether there is enough real content to draw on: a questions page, articles and a sensible volume of text. |
| On-site entity signals | 10 | Understood | Whether your organisation node states official profiles, what you know about, when you started and where you are. |
| Answer absorbability | 15 | Citable | Whether your pages contain complete, quotable sentences with a fact in them, and a questions page that answers real questions. |
| Trust | 15 | Citable | Whether you have real About and Contact pages, named authorship, enough body content and a privacy or terms page. |
| Page topic and metadata | 5 | Readable | Whether every page has a title, a description and exactly one clear main heading. |
| Content quality | 5 | Citable | Whether any placeholder or template text is left on the pages we read. |
AI crawler access
Four AI crawlers are asked for your home page. If two or more get turned away, 15 points come off the total. If one does, 7 come off.
llms.txt
A published llms.txt is an optional bonus signal. It does not affect your score or A+ to D grade; its effect on AI answers is unproven.
A+ to D
A+ is 90 and above, A 80, B 70, C 60. Below 60 is a D. The score locates weaknesses and orders fixes. It is not a ranking.
Limits: the instant check reads up to twelve pages. The full report samples more key pages, is reviewed by a person and lists every finding with an owner and reference code. Neither tests what any AI assistant says about you.
FAQ
Questions people ask
What does the free AI search readiness check do?
It reads your home page and a sample of up to twelve key pages, asks for your home page the way four AI crawlers do, and scores nine dimensions out of 100. The instant result is automated. If you ask for the full report, a real person reviews it. We reply within 2 business days.
What does the score mean?
It measures how ready your website is to be understood, trusted and cited by AI. It is not a search ranking, and it does not measure how often any AI mentions you.
Why test AI crawlers by name?
Because a clean robots.txt is not the same as being readable. A firewall can turn bots away even when robots.txt allows them, and then nothing else on your site can be read.
Why do you ask for my phone number?
So a person can talk you through the report if you want that. We may contact you about it. You can ask us not to.
Is my website address stored?
Only if you ask for the full report. The check runs when you press the button and nothing is saved until you send the form.
